علامہ محمد اقبال   علامہ اقبال زمانہ حاضر میں عالم اسلام کے سب سے بڑے شاعر اور فلسفی تھے، جنہوں نے فلسفہ خودی کی تشریح کی، اتحاد عالم اسلامی کی دعوت دی اور نسل و رنگ کے خلاف آواز بلند کی۔ اقبال 9 نومبر 1877 کو سیالکوٹ میں پیدا ہوئے۔ اسکول کی تعلیم کے بعد ایف اے مشن کالج سیالکوٹ سے اوربی اے اور ایم اے گورنمنٹ کالج لاہور سے پاس کیا۔ 1905 میں یورپ گئے۔ پی ایچ ڈی اور بیرسٹری پاس کرکے تین سال بعد واپس آئے۔ لاہور میں وکالت شروع کردی۔ 1914 میں انہوں نے اپنا فلسفہ خودی پیش کیا۔ پھر اسرار خودی اور رموز بے خودی دو مثنویاں لکھیں۔ ان کی شاعری کا شہرہ ہندوستان کے باہر دوسرے ملکوں میں بھی ہوگیا۔ بعد میں انہوں نے پیام مشرق، زبور عجم، بانگ درا،بال جبریل، جاوید نامہ اور نظموں کے دو تین اور مجموعے شائع کیے۔ 1930میں علامہ اقبال انڈیا مسلم لیگ کے صدر منتخب ہوئے۔ الہ آباد میں انہوں نے جو خطبہ پڑھا، اس میں تجویز کیا کہ ہندوستان میں مسلمانوں کی ایک آزاد حکومت ہونی چاہیے، جس کے ماتحت مسلم اکثریت کے علاقے آزاد زندگی بسر کرسکیں۔ یہ گویا پاکستان کے قیام کا پہلا مطالبہ تھا۔ 1933میں علالت کا سلسلہ شروع ہوا۔...
