1st November 2017 Independence Day of GB HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO GILGIT BALTISTAN 1st November is the independence day of Gilgit-Baltistan. It was on this day in 1947 that the people of the area and the Gilgit scouts earned their freedom from Dogra Raj. Please remember the bravehearts who laid down their lives .. to honor their sacrifices !  The Independence Day of Gilgit Baltistan (GB) celebrated on 1st November every year with great zeal and zest by the people of area.
